Happy halloween. Not like I’m going to celebrate… I don’t even intend to draw anything halloeweeny. I has no time and i’m too lazy for that. I did sketch but its a real sucky one. I don’t want to finish it.

Ignore the extreme left. These are my OCs… I thought i’d give them some attention.

Either way, I’m not in the mood to do anything. I JUST WANT TO PLAY SOME VALVE GAMES AGAIN!!!! Call this obsession, but i need to shoot something. How creepy D:

I also did this to show Marj that Tadase is not always girlish. He’s so abused i tell you! Everyone watching Shugo Chara absolutely adores Ikuto and says Tadase is gay. Boo.

So i drew this. YA I PURPOSELY PUT HIM IN COOL GUY CLOTHES. IF IKUTO WORE A CHECKERED CAPE HE’D LOOK GAY TOO. PFFFFFTTT

His shoulders look too broad for a boy because its a leather jacket. Its STIFF. HOLY CROWN FTW *is shot by ikuto fangirls*

Don’t get me wrong, i do like Ikuto. Its the fans and the amount of it i don’t like.

Haha so i failed to update for 2 days. I was busy doing line art. PFFT!

YAR so on friday i went to play lan with the guys. IT WAS FUN! Until i had to leave early for sailing, boo. We played L4D and TF2. We did versus. I was survivor team first, Zoey. Aha well i killed a few hunters mauling Lorentz, Dan, I think. Ahhh it was all really one big mayhem for me ==”

I have started a liking to these really cool XML templates… Its a whole lot better than the old ones! Just dont ask me about the “categories” and the “ Undefined” tags… Still working out the kinks.

End of the world?

2012 doomsday? I don’t think so :D

The mayan calendar just ends there. Doesnt mean the world does. They probably got tired of making calendars for year they’d never see. How would they know? And if they are “predicting” from the stars without telescopes or any information at all, i dont think it is true. People said the world would end at year 2000.

First off, the Mayans never predicted the end of the world. Their calendar ended -- which in my mind, doesn’t imply the end if the world. Their calendar cycle was different from the one we rely on. They were conquered by the Europeans and killed off or enslaved before they had a chance to make a new one. It’s like saying the world will end in 2010 because we haven’t printed any calendars for that year yet.

Let’s examine the myths put forward by those who think the world will end in 2012.

Mayans predicted it: As I’ve already stated, the Mayans never predicted the end of the world for 2012.
Nibiru/Planet X: Imaginary planets have a terrible habit of never crashing into the Earth. IF Nibiru was real, we would’ve seen it by now. It would also have to have an insanely high eccentric orbit. It doesn’t make sense that such a planet would exist. NASA has never imaged it; neither have the millions of amateur astronomers out there who would be able to see it with a small telescope..

Planetary alignment: Ok, complete planetary alignment is never possible seeing as all the planets orbit on different planes. They can never be perfectly aligned with each other. And even if they were, the distance between them is too great for it to have any significant effects on the Earth..

Solar storm: Our sun goes through natural 11-year cycles of increased and decreased solar activity. These happen every 11 years, and aren’t going to destroy the world in 2012. If there was a huge solar flare, our magnetosphere would do a good job of toning it down a whole lot. No such events have been scientifically predicted to take place in 2012.

Pole shift: Pole shift theory simply implies that the magnetic North and South poles move in position every year. If this theory is correct, then they’ve been moving for a while now, and will also move in 2012. But that certainly doesn’t spell out the end of the world. Poles shifting completely is not “pole shift”, but rather “geomagnetic pole reversal”, which I’ll talk about next.
Geomagnetic pole reversal: This is unpredictable. It’s happened multiple times, but cannot be detected. There’s the same chance of it happening today as there is in 2012. They’re simply unpredictable. Also keep in mind that they haven’t been proven to have actually happened, although there’s a lot of evidence supporting them.

Galactic alignment: On the 21 of each year in December, the Earth passes almost directly in alignment to the center of the galaxy, but misses it by a couple degrees. Due to the natural wobble of the Earth, it will make an alignment every once in a while. But this has happened several times before, and won’t magically cause the world to end in 2012.

LHC: People also think the LHC is going to end the world based on the idea that it will make a black hole and suck up the Earth, despite the fact that it has about a 0% chance of making any microscopic black hole, and even if it did, it would evaporate due to Hawking Radiation before it had a chance to gain enough mass to do any significant damage. I have the exact math saved on file -- email me if you want to see it.

Moral of the story is that the world won’t end in 2012. There’s no reason to think it will.

ITS OVER!!!! I hope i get sick! I really do. I just finished my english reflection. like just. Its awesome because i only got 4 of the books yesterday. I read 3 yesterday and finished off the last one today. Teehee I’m not sure if you are supposed to wrie a reflection for each one but heck, at least i did it.

No i was so overwhelmed by work i couldn’t draw anything :’( Boo. And i won’t have time tomorrow because i bet there is maths supplementary. or at least i should think so.

I am the master of posting! One whole month with no post (nice month too…) hehehe i’m just lazy i guess. I got not much to write about actually so yeah.

I HAVENT DONE ENGLISH HOMEWORK!!!! Nononono!! >:( I am so gonna die. I’ll admit i totally forgot it and i also forgot to go for english oral practice which means i’m roast meat on monday, Mdm Nora will shoop da whoop me(“JANICE! IMMA FIRIN’ MAH LAZOR!!!!!”). I still wonder why school is still open, I hope i get H1N1. Really.

Today I did amaths homework and finished it (with a lot of help from my sis.) so there. My days are boring. I surfed Deviantart (like usual). I couldn’t go to Darens party. Parents are overboard about the H1N1 stuff and my mum says she does not want me to go to school, strange. kinda short notice too no? Darn i want to watch Transformers 2! It sounds so cool plus with the soundtrack on advertisments its hard to resist.

Oh we are going to get our results tomorrow! I’m not looking for ward to it really. It’ll destroy my day. As long as i can get past these 2 weeks, I AM FWEEEEE!!!!* 1 week of hell, another week of worrying (about the report book) then i can be fwwwwee.

This weekend was fun, not counting Friday where i had to stay at home, boo. Do whatever you want, nothing wrong with playing games (oh well, my brother told on me when i didn’t allow him to watch me play sims2 so i can’t play the whole weekend. Aren’t brothers the best ?).

I have this sudden addiction to nancy drew computer games, hahas in the game you NEVER get to see her face for some reason, i even looked in the mirror and there was no reflection… CREEPY! Oh yes that means i have to have an addition to my wish list, Nancy drew: Danger by Design. I am such a geek am i? I may need to wear glasses soon too, i can’t see the board properly. Curse you myopic.

I just finish reading Sea Fever by Sarah Mason. Its is a sailing book about the America’s cup competition and they sail the yachts. Its hard to understand if you are not a sailor… lots of technical terms used, i was confused sometimes too. I read it in 2 days and there are 587 pages, so er is that fast?
